These terms cover the part our Privacy Policy doesn't: the actual agreement between you and Reclaim, especially how deposits and refunds work. Written in the same plain language as everything else on this site, on purpose — if anything here is unclear, email us before you rely on it.
“Reclaim,” “we,” or “us” means Reclaim, operated as a sole proprietorship. “You” means anyone with a Reclaim account. By creating an account or starting a stake, you're agreeing to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Reclaim.
You need to be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract where you live. By using Reclaim, you're confirming that's true and that the info on your account is accurate.
Starting a stake charges your card once, upfront, through Stripe. That charge has two parts:
At the end of a stake, we refund whatever you earned back to the same card. If you end a stake early, we refund the earned amount for the days you completed — the commitment fee still isn't refunded, and days you don't reach are simply never charged for since the deposit was already collected upfront. Refunds are issued by us right away, but your bank or card network can take a few business days to actually show it. Beyond the day-by-day earn-back described above, charges are non-refundable.
What you write and any handwriting photos you submit are yours. We need a license to actually run the app with them, though — to store them, show them back to you, and (only for the AI features you use) send them to Anthropic to transcribe a photo, generate a reflection on your journaling, or organize a PDF export. You're responsible for what you submit — don't post anything unlawful, anything that infringes someone else's rights, or anything involving another real person without their OK.
Reclaim's AI features (daily evaluations, handwriting transcription, and the PDF export's narrative and recommendations) are generated by AI models and reflect on how you're journaling — your consistency, your patterns, your reflections. They're deliberately built to never coach or judge the underlying goal you're working toward.
That output can still be inaccurate or incomplete, isn't professional, medical, or psychological advice, and shouldn't be the sole basis for an important decision. You're responsible for how you use it.
Don't try to break into other accounts, scrape or reverse-engineer the app, disrupt the service, or use it to build a competing product. We can suspend or close an account that does any of this, or that we reasonably believe puts other users or Reclaim at risk.
Reclaim runs on Supabase, Stripe, Anthropic, Google, and Vercel — same list as our Privacy Policy. If one of them has an outage or a problem on their end, we're not responsible for it, though we'll do what we can to keep Reclaim working.
Reclaim is provided as-is. We don't promise it'll be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it'll help you build any particular habit — the app is a tool for consistency, not a guarantee of outcomes.
To the extent the law allows it, our total liability to you for anything related to Reclaim is capped at whichever is greater: what you paid us in the past 12 months, or $50. Some places don't allow limits like this, so it may not apply to you.
You can stop using Reclaim anytime, and you can request account deletion by emailing robbynocode@gmail.com. We can also suspend or close an account for a real violation of these terms. Closing an account doesn't undo a charge already made under the payment terms above.
If something goes wrong, email us first at robbynocode@gmail.com — most things are easier to sort out directly. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where it matters, let you know in the app. Using Reclaim after a change means you accept the update.
