Reclaim is a daily accountability journal: you deposit money against a stake and earn a portion back for each day you submit an entry. This page explains what we collect to make that work, and what we do — and don't do — with it. It's written in plain language on purpose; if anything here is unclear, email us.
What we collect
- ●Account info: your email address, via Supabase Authentication.
- ●Journal content: your daily Yes/No answers, "Because" reflections, looking-ahead notes, and free-form notes.
- ●Handwriting photos, if you choose to submit an entry by photo instead of typing.
- ●Stake data: how much you deposit, your daily refund and forfeit history, and payment/refund status from Stripe. We never see or store your card number — Stripe handles that directly.
How we use it
- ●To run the core app: tracking your stake, your streak, and your daily refund.
- ●To process deposits and refunds, through Stripe.
- ●To transcribe handwriting photos into text and to generate a short reflection on how you're journaling, both via Anthropic's Claude models. Photos and journal text you submit for these features are sent to Anthropic's API to generate that result.
We do not use your journal content for advertising, and we do not sell your data to anyone.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we use to run Reclaim, and only for that purpose:
- ●Supabase — authentication, database, and photo storage.
- ●Stripe — deposit and refund processing.
- ●Anthropic — handwriting transcription and journaling reflections (phase-3 AI features).
- ●Vercel — hosting.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and journal data for as long as your account is active, so your history and streak stay intact across stakes. You can export everything you've written at any time from your profile page. If you'd like your account and data deleted, email us at robbynocode@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.
Your choices
- ●Export your journal and reflections anytime from Profile → Export.
- ●End a stake early from your profile.
- ●Request account deletion by emailing us.
Children
Reclaim isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
